We are KAYDMF, a growing fashion brand currently working on our second collection, and we’re excited to invite a new member to join our team as an intern. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in building a fashion brand from the ground up. Position: Fashion Brand Intern
Duration: 3 months
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Minimum 3 hours per week (flexible schedule to be discussed)

About the Role:
As an intern at KAYDMF, you’ll be part of a small, dynamic team with big aspirations. You’ll gain exposure to both the creative and business sides of running a fashion brand. This is a hands-on role that will provide you with valuable experience and insight, especially if you’re considering starting your own brand or joining a larger, more established company in the future.
What You'll Learn:
- The Challenges and Opportunities of a Small Brand: Understand the unique limitations and advantages of working in a small, fast-growing business.
- Supplier & Manufacturer Relations: Learn how to build research and partnerships with key players in the production process.
- Design & Development: Get involved in the full design cycle, from concept to final product delivery.
- Personal Growth: We’ll help you identify your strengths and preferences, giving you clarity on your career direction.
- Event & Campaign Management: Gain experience in organising product shoots, sample shoots, and campaign events.
- Industry Exposure: Attend meetings, participate in upskilling courses, and engage in all aspects of the business.
- Influencer/Celebrity Liaison: Build connections and gain experience in organising the loan of samples and custom pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our designer in creating samples and tech packs.
- Prepare pull notes and coordinate sample deliveries.
- Organise the studio and help with event planning and execution.
Required Skills:
- Illustration & Technical Drawings: Ability to create technical drawing for tech-packs.
- Strong email communication skills for liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Proactive in creating and filming content.
- Understanding of basic pattern-making and sewing techniques.
