KayD McAdam Freud is from South East London and is the designer behind KAYDMF. The only other consistent element in her artistic practice, aside from creating clothing, has been life drawing. She's been engaged in this pursuit since the age of 14, observing bodies—how they move, how they're shaped, how muscle covers bone, how flesh folds and curves. Bodies, to her, are inherently beautiful, and clothes attain their beauty when draped on a body, housing and interacting with the form underneath. The fusion of mesh and flesh, the interaction of body and object within space, becomes art.
